A Study on PAPR Reduction Based on Adaptive Peak Amplitude Cancellation for MIMO-OFDM Signals, Part III

(in English) One of subjects in multi-input multi-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is to reduce peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmit signal. As a solution to this problem, we have proposed a PAPR reduction scheme based on adaptive peak cancellation for multi-carrier systems such as OFDM systems, where peak amplitude of the transmit signal is iteratively suppressed by adding a peak cancellation (PC) signal. In this paper, we extend the proposed PAPR reduction method for E-SDM OFDM systems and evaluate the achievable performance. Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective in reducing PAPR of the transmit signal in E-SDM-OFDM system.
