In a conventional sensor network, a management node such as a sink node collects sensing information, and carries out applications by processing the information. However, if some applications are carried out in the target environment, the management node does not have to collect information, but each actuator node distribut-
edly collects and processes the information to carry out the application. Furthermore, it is only necessary to collect data of sensor nodes that are concerned with the application, and we have these nodes be grouped together. We propose a protocol to collect the sensing information of grouped source nodes efficiently, and demonstrate in the experiment that actuator nodes are able to collect the information and the proposed protocol can decrease the amount of transmitting information. |
