Adapting the Autonomous Decentralized Control Based on MCMC against Environmental Fluctuation

(in English) Autonomous Decentralized Control~(ADC) is being actively discussed for realizing control of large-scale and wide area networks. The previous paper has proposed an ADC based on MCMC~(Markov Chain Monte Carlo), and shown that the proposed ADC can indirectly control probability distribution of system performance variable that is an amount to quantify system state. However, the proposed ADC does not have the adaptability for various environmental fluctuation. In this paper, we propose an adjustment method for control parameter of the ADC, and clarify its effectiveness for fluctuation of the number of nodes, and communication condition among nodes through simulation experiment with virtual machine placement problem in data center networks.
