Construction of Inverse System for Transaural Reproduction by Diagonalization Method

(in English) This paper proposes a new method for construction of a controller for transaural reproduction. In transaural reproduction method, suppressing crosstalk in propagation of sounds by a controller enables to reproduce binaural signals at control points through loudspeakers. The proposed method consists of two steps: identification of head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) in a reproduced sound field as a multi-input multi-output system, and construction of an inverse system as a controller using the diagonalization method. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, we made an HRTF measurement experiment using a dummy-head and constructed an inverse system by the proposal using the acquired input-output data. A computer simulation indicated that we can suppress the crosstalk by using the obtained inverse system.
