Acoustic feature analysis of desirable voice in chorus

(in English) In this study, we analyzed characteristics of the ``bright voice'' which is desirable in chorus.
Voice timbre corresponds to its spectrum, and has two aspects: vowel quality and voice quality.
We have focused on voice quality that appears in the high-frequency range.
Firstly, we have obtained some of features that are thought to be related to brightness by analyzing the desirable voice and the undesirable voice which a professional singer utters consciously. Secondly, we have made stimulus sounds reflecting the features, and have conducted listening experiments about whether stimulus sounds are perceived as being bright or not.
We have found that regularity of harmonic structure due to sound source affects brightness in the high-frequency range from the correlation between the resulting perceptual scores and variation of stimulus sounds.
