The effect of Contents and degradation of the static and motion picture on cerebral blood flow

(in English) In this paper we examine the relationship between Cerebral Blood Flow and image quality using Near-Infrared Spectroscopy(NIRS). We measured data of cerebral blood flow and applied it to image quality assessment. To separate the different cerebral function when subjects were watching moving images and still images, we teach subjects to focus on the image content or the degradation noise of image. We found that Z-score of oxy-Hb in the right side frontal area increased when a subject was watching a moving or still image he likes. And Z-score of oxy-Hb in the sides frontal area decreased when quality of still image was degraded, but increased with moving images.
