A Development of Haptic Interface SPIDAR-S attached to the Smartphone and adopted to the Audio Interface

(in English) In this research, we propose a haptic device SPIDAR-S. SPIDAR-S is able to be attached to the smartphone. And it is a very small and simple device. SPIDAR-S is composed of one thread, one motor, and earphone jack. It provides a force feedback by thread’s tension. And the direction of the force is one direction. The motor is controlled by the audio output from the smartphone. And we hope that many people will be able to enjoy haptic technology easily in any place by using it.
