Impact of Interference Node for SWIPT MIMO Relay Transmission
Masashi Koizumi, Shigenobu Sasaki (Niigata Univ.), Ioannis Krikidis (Univ. of Cyprus) SR2014-117
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper investigates the performance of low-complexity technique for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relay channels. The relay transmission system has been
composed by source node, relay node and destination node so far. In this study, MIMO antenna switching is introduced in SWIPT relay node to capture information and energy simultaneously. Furthermore, impact of introducing an interference node is also investigated. Simulation results show that the interference node contributes the performance of SWIPT MIMO relay system in the case of Rayleigh fading and low RF energy transfer efficiency.
