In order to provide sufficient level of quality of experience (QoE) to more applications with more importance operating on a shared frequency band, we have proposed a QoE-oriented wireless LAN (WLAN) system. The proposed system performs channel access control for each application traffic and dynamic network reconfiguration according to its priority and QoE sufficiency, and the usage of radio resource measured by spectrum sensing. This paper introduces the details of these control processes. It also confirms the effectiveness of the proposed QoE-oriented WLAN through indoor experiment. |
