Image Synthesis of Twin Camera Using Self Similarity for Nasal Breath Test

(in English) For examination of velopharyngeal function etc., a nasal breath mirror of stainless plate is often used. The disease can be diagnosed by observing a nasal breath blown on the plate. However, there is a problem that the mist of snort disappears in a minute. So, it is difficult to analyze the flow quantitatively. Also, instead of the mirror, the usage of a large system is unsuited for kindergartners because of their fear. In this report, we propose a method for recording a nasal breath image on a plate from two different viewpoints by using twin camera. And we acquire a breath image from two original distorted images by the self similarity. From experimental results, we show that the clear image can be obtained and the flow of nasal breath can be analyzed.
