Effect of Contact Oil on Contact Resistance in Electrical Contacts

(in English) Currently, multi-way and miniaturization of the automobile connector are progressing, and there is a need as decrease of insertion force. Contact oil is one of the means for solving the problem. In previous studies, as viscosity of oil contact is high, the contact resistance increases immediately after applying a contact load. Effect of the viscosity on the contact resistance occurs in the process of contact oil discharged from the contact area. In order to investigate in detail, the load-contact resistance measurement system was constructed which was able to change the load applied movement speed.
