| (in English) | Rat-race hybrid coupler with four ports is often used to split or combine microwave signals. Due to combine 1/4λ transmission lines, conventional rat-race couplers suffer from the harmonic problem that spurious responses appear at the frequencies odd-number times of the design frequency. In this report, we propose a method that suppresses these spurious responses by loading two microstrip-line open stubs and a slot on the grand plane. Its usefulness is verified by numerical and experimental investigation. | |
