Organic materials have lightweight, flexibility, low cost, and high-performance organic semiconductor materials have been developed in recent years. Low-temperature, low-cost, and large-area device process using organic materials has attracted attention as next-generation device fabrications. In particular, the prototype flexible organic devices are reported and their commercialization is expected, such as display panel, information tag, smart card, portable electronic devices that take advantage of the features of organic materials. Here mainly focusing on organic thin film transistor, we describe recent development of flexible organic devices and problems to be solved, such as device life time, stability, element structure that take advantage of the characteristics of the organic material and process technology. |
