A Study of Prioritized Path Computation in Elastic Lambda Aggregation Network

(in English) A research project on a novel optical network configuration for metro/access-integrated lambda aggregation networks, which can accommodate multiple services by creating elastic optical paths with optical OFDM signals. This network which is called an elastic lambda aggregation network (EAN), is necessary to meet multiple requirements such as signal bandwidth, latency limitation, and network availability which are different from service to service. Priority control of optical path is effective to realize different availability of path. In this paper, we propose a prioritized routing and spectrum assignment (RSA) algorithm by using priority weighted optical path, and demonstrate to reduce the blocking probability of high priority path.
