Effect of focus while gazing at occlusion regions

(in English) We have been analyzed the gazing points while gazing at occlusion regions in 3D images. Here, we focused on the change of focal position which was caused by shifting the gazing points by eye movements. Occlusion regions can be seen from only one eye. In many cases, it is corresponding to depth discontinuous surfaces in 3D-space. In real space, therefore, it may lead us that we see blurred patterns on the surface of an object, as shifting focus point. On the other hand, such a situation that patterns are blurred doesn't arise while we see 3D images, although we change the focus position. In the experiment, we used the light field images, which are calculated images that correspond to various given focal positions in the image after the process of capturing a scene. We displayed 3D images which are composed with the corresponding focus images to the gazing points. In this report, We show that examples of measured eye movements and dictations on depth perception.
