Study on Visibility and Depth Perception of Fusion Image between Laparoscope and Ultrasound

(in English) In laparoscopic surgery，to obtain information in organs such as the lesion and the blood vessels，the ultrasound probe which can be inserted from the port is used．However，the surgeon must be observed at the same time the laparoscopic and ultrasound images，it is difficult to understand the correspondence of the ultrasound image and the real space．Therefore, to recognize the correspondence between the two images intuitively，a system for overlaying an ultrasound image on laparoscopic image is proposed．In the surgical support of such an image overlay，it is a difficult to understand the location of the depth direction of the overlain image．The overlay of 3D images，various overlap ways to feel the depth the operator is considered, but it is not little consideration for 2D ultrasound images．Therefore，we evaluated new overlay method can feel a depth while maintaining the visibility of the image by changing the presentation of the image overlay．
