Operational Support for Beginners Based on Virtual Instruction of Origami Process

(in English) Various origami works are published as origami drill books in which a sequence of folding operations with simple diagrams is described. However, the book readers often give up following the instruction of the book halfway because it is too difficult to understand a way to fold in accordance with the diagrams. Therefore, we have developed an operational support system by representing instruction contents overlaid onto the user's paper. In this system, the instruction contents are determined based on the instruction model which maintains operation processes required for completing works. In this paper, we propose an instruction method for folding operations that even an origami beginner can easily understand. First, a construction method for the instruction model consisting of the simplest operation process is described. Then, in order to constitute intuitively understandable diagrams, the contents overlaid onto camera images are considered.
