In this paper, experience based Doppler effect learning support system was developed. For hearing change of sound by Doppler effect, a learner have to stable control the velocity of the sound source and the observer. So the system which a leaner can control the velocity of the sound source and the observer on two-dimensional surface in the virtual experiment environment is developed. By controlling velocity of the observer and the sound source, a leaner can experiment of the Doppler effect in a variety of exercise conditions. A learner can look around the virtual experiment environment using the HMD, and can hear a sound observed in the position of the observer in the virtual experiment environment. From the verification experimental results, we confirmed that the subjects can experiment of the Doppler effect. |
