Evaluation of Routing Metrics depending on an amount of Interference in Wireless Mesh Networks

(in English) In Wireless Mesh Networks, It is assumes that CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Avoidance) is used to avoid the frame collision due to communication with the neighbor node. CSMA/CA is a collision avoidance system that shifts nodes adjacent to communication nodes to the node which waiting a constant time. Since, in a network using a multi-hop communication such as Wireless Mesh Networks, CSMA/CA makes large number of nodes which waiting constant time, therefore the session performance uctuates. To handle this problem, the routing metric depending on the number of interfered nodes and the routing metric depending on the interfered session have been proposed. In this paper, we install these two metrics to HWMP that is a routing protocol of wireless mesh network, and perform comparative evaluation, to clarify each adaptation area.
