Adaptive periodic noise cancellation of for electric vehicles

(in English) High power transistor emit strong electromagnetic waves, which possibly cause harmful influence on neighboring electric circuits in electric vehicles. This paper proposes a technique to mitigate the influence. The proposed technique is applied to a receiver of a wireless broadcasting system in this paper. First, the proposed technique detects the empty band where broadcasting systems are not allocated. Next, the correlation between the electromagnetic wave in the empty band and the broadcasting band is estimated. The electromagnetic wave in the broadcasting band is canceled with the estimated correlation. Moreover this paper shows that the cancellation performance is degraded by the sampling jitter. We propose a technique to offset the sampling jitter for the proposed canceler to keep the superior performance. The cancellation performance is evaluated by computer simulation.
