(in English) Standardization and discussion aimed for next generation optical access systems reach the most interesting phase and their R&D activities are increasing. In this report, we introduce a trend for the recent standardization and our R&D activities for the optical access systems. We also mention prospects of optical device technologies suitable for the future optical access systems.
