Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Synchronization phenomena are investigated in various fields. We analyzed wave phenomena on a ladder which van der Pol oscillators are coupled by inductors as. In these waves, we can observe continuous propagating waves in steady states. The wave changes phase states between adjacent oscillators from an in-phase synchronization to an anti-phase synchronization or from the anti-phase synchronization to the in-phase synchronization and propagates continuously. We call this wave ``phase-inversion wave.'' Some phase-inversion waves can exist on a ladder if the ladder is constructed by many oscillators. In this study, we construct a cruciform system that four ladders including four or eight van der Pol oscillators are coupled by using four inductors and a van der Pol oscillator. When the eight van der Pol oscillators are coupled for each ladder, domains of which the phase-inversion waves can be observed are investigated and an itinerancy of instantaneous electric power of a center oscillator of the cross are analyzed. When the four van der Pol oscillator are coupled for each ladder, actual circuit experimental results are compared to numerical experimental results and we make clear that the phase-inversion waves can be observed on the cross.
