Optimization of Target Degrees for Frameless ALOHA with Multiple Base Stations
Shun Ogata, Koji Ishibashi (The Univ. Electro-Comm.), Giuseppe Abreu (Jacobs Univ. Bremen) RCS2015-100
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we focus on a frameless ALOHA with two base stations (BSs). Frameless ALOHA with multiple BSs can be represented by using a bipartite graph with multiple degree distributions, which is referred to as a multi-edge-type bipartite graph. Based on the representation, the packet erasure probability upon iterative demodulation with successive interference cancellation (SIC) is calculated via density evolution and the optimum target degrees are obtained, which provide the maximum peak throughput.
