A study of energy problems in M2M device

(in English) M2M (Machine to Machine) is system that has possible to collect various information without the intervention of human by communicates to mutual appliances. It is said to be necessary of 1 trillion sensor node for IoT (Internet of Things) promotion, but considered several of technical problems for accommodate realize of M2M network. Authors have especially attention to an energy problem. The method of energy supply is required if there is no commercial power supply at environment with sensor node and difficult to battery exchange of sensor nodes. And, there is trial calculation that power for driving for 1 trillion sensor nodes need new dedicated thermal power plant. Thus, we consider that various countermeasure necessary for the spread of IoT/M2M about Energy problems. In this study, we explain communication method, which accounts for most of the energy consumption of the sensor node, and about method of achieving the communication technique that achieves low power consumption.
