Interference Evaluation of Millimeter Wave Band Massive-MIMO Equipped with by a Mobile Terminal

(in English) Massive-MIMO communication using the millimeter waves has been considered as the fifth generation mobile communication system (5G) for next-generation wireless communication system. With the ability to simultaneously connect with more than 100 users of devices, Massive-MIMO also can reduce interference with users outside the network by using beam forming. Nevertheless, interference such as reflections from the walls of a building and from the antenna side lobes, also had to be considered. In this paper, we analyzed the 30GHz band patch antenna using the FDTD method. The obtained three-dimensional data of radiation pattern is embedded in the ray-trace method, and then the interference between the millimeter wave Massive-MIMO users is evaluated. As a result, it showed that the beam forming ability in Massive-MIMO was likely to have effect on the communication quality.
