We promoted a study for the practical use of space optical communication in NICT and developed SOTA is loaded on 50kg-class satellite. The Atmospheric fluctuation becomes a problem for ground-to-satellite communication links. SOTA has the error correcting code function of Reed-Solomon code and the Low-density generator matrix (LDGM) code to prevent the omission of the data by the atmosphere fluctuation. In this paper, we demonstrate space optical communication in the image data that it added LDGM code for ground-to-satellite communication links. It shows to correct the omission of the data by the atmosphere fluctuation. |
