(in English) We introduce a framework to evaluate conversational engagement using entropy of statistical turn-taking model. We demonstrate that the proposed method is consistent to the conventional method but has clearer mathematical meaning. In the experiment part, we compare the proposed engagement measure with subjective rating using 3 conversations presented by elderly person. The result shows that the proposed method's performance is as well as the human raters'.
