Fabrication of cascaded chirp long period fiber gratings and their application to simultaneous measurements of strain and temperature

(in English) In this paper we have fabricated several kinds of cascaded chirp long period fiber gratings (C-CLPGs) and have investigated in terms of strain and temperature sensitivity, in which channeled spectra can be obtained in a wider bandwidth than that of cascaded normal long period fiber gratings (C-LPG) so that more precise measurements are expected in a Fourier transform interrogation scheme. In the experiment, simultaneous of measurements of strain and temperature have been demonstrated by applying deferent order cladding mode.
