Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Near- eld far- eld transformation based on fast multipole method (FMM) for RCS measurement is known as high accuracy method. It enables us to decompose target's region for reduction of approximation of Green's function and take transmitting and recieving antenna's directivity into account. However, it require measurement on 3-D surface and its measurement cost is a problem. Toward this problem, we proposed a transformation technique based on 2-D FMM that require near- eld measurement only on 2-D line. In this paper, for farther understanding of the transformation technique, we investigate the accuracy of the transformation technique for different measurement distance or targets.
