(in English) Health informatics is an interdisciplinary field which is an application of information and communication technology (ICT) to medical and healthcare services. Recently, with help of the development and prevalence of state-of-the-art ICT and sensing technology, systems (especially, utilizing mobile technology) aiming at prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases, such as stress-related diseases and lifestyle-related diseases, have been intensively developed in the world. These developments made it possible to continuously measure high-quality and multidimensional biological information and behavioral records and also allowed to access a large amount of such information. Under these situations, the establishment of a new framework to utilize a large-scale data, especially a method to extract the useful information associated with diseases, is urgently demanded. In this talk, we briefly introduce current research trends in this field and our data mining studies on biological intensive longitudinal data (specifically, spontaneous physical activity) aiming at an early warning detection of pathogenesis and pathological changes in psychiatric disorders. Further, we address the development of our psycho-behavioral monitoring system combined with behavioral-induction/intervention.
