The effect of Saliency and Ensemble in Visual Search

(in English) A saliency-based visual attention model can simulate the mechanism of human eye movement in experimental psychology. That is, the higher salient visual point more attract to visual attention. However there is a problem that the information provided from saliency map is locally and the global information distributed in whole of the view is not concerned. In addition, it is not clear that the saliency-based mechanism is best suited to account for human behavior. In this study, we examined which the information of ensemble, which is distributed in the visual scene, influences human-eye movement, and then how relation is between the information of ensemble and the information of saliency.
