Research and development of satellite/terrestrial integrated mobile communication system (STICS) is performed to achieve secured and safe society. A mobile terminal antenna for STICS required to have maximum directivity at the elevation angle of satellite direction. So, we proposed such antenna using X shape dipole elements. Directivity is calculated using electromagnetic simulator with the human phantom and antenna pattern is drastically changed with or without human phantom. By attaching human phantom, this antenna shows high directivity around 6dBi at the satellite elevation angle. So, we conclude proposed antenna is suitable for the satellite link of STICS. |
