We have been developing the superconducting detector LEKID (Lumped Element Kinetic Inductance Detectors) for a dark matter search using liquid helium. It is thought that LEKID is able to detect scintillation light photons from the liquid helium with a high detection efficiency at a limited area. We report on current status of the development and show the LEKID sensitivity to visible light. |
