[Poster Presentation] Design and Performance Evaluation of Amplify-and-Forward Relays with Delay

(in English) In this paper, we propose a new relaying scheme which introduces delay and amplification at relay stations for single-carrier (SC) cooperative relay transmissions in frequency selective channels. We consider two delay design methods. The first delay design method selects a delay which maximizes the ratio of desired signal component and interference component of the total channel. In the second delay design method, we choose the best delay from the candidates selected by focusing on high-gain paths of each channel. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme has better performances as compared to conventional amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying.
