Propagation characteristic of transmission line employing periodical arrayed diodes

(in English) For application to miniaturization of RF passive components on MMIC(Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit), we developed voltage-controlled artificial transmission line employing PAD (periodically arrayed diodes) structures on GaAs semiconducting substrate. In this work, propagation characteristics of PAD structure was investigated, and according to results, the PAD structure showed propagation constant  of 0.89 ~ 13.26 rad/mm from 5 to 40 GHz
