Using experimental analysis, Q factor of the thin-film transmission line (TFTL) employing microstrip line/coplanar waveguide (ML/CPW) composite structure was studied. To extract the Q factor, thin film open stub employing ML/CPW was fabricated on silicon substrate. According to measured result, the Q factor of the thin film open stub employing ML/CPW was 7.6, while the Q factor of the open stub conventional coplanar waveguide (CPW) was 2.5. |
