Unified approach to face recognition and face modeling using augmented eigenface

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Abstract A real-time face tracking and recognition system was proposed by Oka and Shakunaga [1], [2]. In their system, 24 images taken in different lighting conditions along with a shape are required for registration of each face.A novel image-based approach for face modeling was also proposed using the same framework. This report discusses a unified approach to face recognition and face modeling using augmented eigenface.
