Healing effects of forest photographs -- effect of the waterside --

(in English) The purpose of this study was to examine the healing effects of several forest photographs with and without the waterside, especially the effect of the waterside in them. Participants were 30 university and graduate school students (16 males, 14 females). Those photographs were evaluated by paired comparisons, semantic differential method, profile of mood states, and attention restoration theory. The results show that forest photographs with the waterside were significantly higher in the healing effects than those without and they might make people more relaxed.
