In this paper, the influence of wave absorbers to the characteristics of the electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation on a single posture of human body model are examined by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulations in conjunction with the pulse excitation source. Three calculation models are simulated. The first model is bounded by the absorbing boundary condition and the last two models include the multi-layer planar and pyramid wave absorbers. In each model, the received signal levels at frequency of 2.45 GHz for nine different combinations of polarization regarding the transmitted and received electric field components and for six transmitter-receiver (Tx-Rx) links are extracted using Fourier transform. The signal levels at neighboring points of each receiver position are also calculated. The simulation results give good match of the received signal levels for each polarization and channel among all calculation models. |
