High accuracy mesh reconstruction by using geometric information estimated from point clouds and multiview images

(in English) 3D object model from multiview images have been used in various applications such as stereoscopic video and CG, 3D printing. In a recent research, the user can obtain mesh surface and point cloud of the object by only inputting the multiview images to the system. However, the shape information of its object details would have been often lost. To resolve this problem, the users had to make the foreground/background segmentation information. Meanwhile, the manual segments in a three-dimensional space is much easier than in the image. Therefore, by utilizing ths segmented point cloud, after extracting the contour of the object in the image, it does reconstruct the mesh along the image contours.
