An Accuracy Evaluation of Frame Interpolation Method Using High-Resolution Video and High-Frame Rate Video

(in English) In this paper, we propose a new frame interpolation method using video that
has two types of information; high-resolution video and high-frame rate
video. A frame interpolation method is a technology that improves the frame
rate by inserting interpolated frames. However, in the case of interpolation
of the low-frame rate video along the conventional method, unnatural
movement occurs in the interpolated video, due to lack of motion information
between frames. So, in the proposed method, reproduce the natural movement
by using the global motion that is included in high-frame rate
components. The experimental results show that proposed method outperforms a
conventional method. In addition, we clarify the issues in the proposed
method.
