In this study, a detection method of the step length change intention of a user on a gait rehabilitation system using a footpad-type locomotion interface for realizing an interactive gait rehabilitation protocol based on the user’s intention is proposed. In the method, focused on a shearing force that occurs between each foot and footpad on a footpad-type locomotion interface. Through evaluation test, it was suggested that the proposed method can detect the step length change intention of anyone by using support vector machine. |
