[Invited Talk] A Study on Sensing System for Human Activity Recognition

(in English) This paper presents a study on sensing system for human activity recognition, which can support elderly people and families with small children. Proposed sensing system can track multiple people on a floor in a house identifying individuals. The proposed system with the human tracking feature can provide fine controls of household equipment and consumer electronics/appliances for elderly people and families with small children. A prototype of the proposed sensing system and evaluation results are shown in this paper.
