Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This report describes feasibility of ultra multi-level modulation based on SSB-DFTs-OFDM. This report reveals that SSB-DFTs-OFDM (Single Side Band-DFT spreading OFDM) using multi-level BPSK has robustness to reference phase error for coherent detection than QAM modulation and proposes an ultra-multi-level modulation scheme which achieves 12 bit/s/Hz spectrum efficiency which is equivalent to 4096 QAM. Furthermore, impact of amplitude and phase error on BER (Bit Error Rate) performance is evaluated by computer simulations, and demonstrate the feasibility of ultra multi-level modulation based on SSB-DFTs-OFDM.
