Study on Bowtie Antenna Arranged Near the Model of Human Body for Noninvasive Acquisition of Biological Data

(in English) To obtain biological data noninvasively, microwaves are applicable which are widely used in various apparatuses including a cellular phone, a PC and the wireless LAN. However, the antenna located nearby human body receives the change of characteristics of high complex permittivity. The purpose of this study is to examine a reflection coefficient when the antenna which radiates microwave in neighbor of the human body to acquire biological data. In this technique, a reflection coefficient of antenna is obtained which is located closely or directly contacted to the human body. The result shows the developed bowtie antenna is very sensitive to receive the reflected microwaves from human body and can be applicable to obtain biological data.
