Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we first examine a method for designing a lowpass filter (LPF) based on miniaturized ring resonators using coupled lines. Secondly, the configuration of the proposed ring resonator is simplified with the symmetry and even and odd analysis. Moreover, coupled line resonator bandpass filters (BPFs) are loaded at the end of the third ring resonator in order to compose a miniaturized diplexer. Finally, the verification of frequency responses and the control of each bandwidth of proposed miniaturized diplexer are carried out by electromagnetic simulation and experiment.
