In the preceding works on the tree networks composed of binary symmetric channel (BSC),the error probability of majority decision at the fusion center is found to be almost constant regardless of a network size. This constant property of error probability has been explained with signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The relay nodes are assumed to have the same out- put power. The system SNR is expected to increase by improving the power allocation for all nodes. In this paper, a new approach of the power allocation is proposed, and the proposed method is shown to be effective to improve the system SNR performance. |
