Colorectal cancer is a high mortality rate disease in Japan.
The most significant factor in prediction and prognosis of colorectal cancer in patients is the presence or absence of lymph node metastasis.
Generally, the greater diameter increases the possibility of the lymph node metastasis.
However, there were some cases that confirmed metastasis even the change in lymph node diameter was small.
This indicates the need for adding other diagnostic materials with the magnitude.
In this study, lymph nodes were manually extracted, and characteristics of metastatic nodes were analyzed through multi-phase contrast enhanced CT images. |
