This paper proposes a mechanism which selects a relay router so that the latency of a end-to-end route becomes the lowest to improve QoE under IPv4/v6 coexistence environment.The authors implement the proposed mechanism and confirm its effectiveness by experiment.
In the experiment, the QoS with the proposed mechanism is compared with the that which uses the most optimal theoretical route.
The experimental results show that the route which is decided by the proposed mechanism can give as good performance as the optimal route.Moreover, the authors indicate that the QoS degradation caused by the proposed mechanism at the beginning of communication can be reduced by keeping the previous appropriate relay router for some period. |
