Dispersion Tolerance Improvement on Transmission of 16-QAM signals Interleaved with Reference Light by Adjustment of Electric Field Amplitude

(in English) We propose an adjustment of electric field amplitude ratio (EAR) between 16-quadrature amplitude modulation (16QAM) signals and reference light on transmission of 16QAM signals interleaved with reference light for dispersion tolerance improvement. Simulation results show that increase of the EAR enables an improvement of the chromatic dispersion tolerance on 10-Gbaud interleaved 16QAM transmission. Then, it is numerically revealed that the proposed method achieves about 1.4 times enhancement of chromatic dispersion tolerance despite the existence of optical noise.
